I'll start this off by saying: "It's all abut the Chicken's". November has absolutely been a banner month so far here on East Matagorda with limits or near limits on every outing so far this month. Whether it's drifting shell,working birds or wading shorelines the fishing has been abolutely awesome to say the least. The ticket has been concetrating on active bait and throwing either Hot Chicken Bass Assassins or Chicken-on-a-Chain Bass Assassins. The bite has been fast and furious for the most part with most of the fish being caught before 8am. Read the following reports and you decide:

11/8/10

Bobby Tackaberry and Dale Mohn drifted East Matagorda Bay today. This duo caught their 20 trout, 16-21", by 6:55 AM while chunking Hot Chicken Bass Assassins.

11/9/10

Shane Schlemeyer had 10 trout, 16-20", and 3 reds, 21-25". These fish were caught while drifting and working birds in East Matagorda Bay. Baits tossed once again those on fire Hot Chicken Bass Assassins.

11/10/10

Bobby Elmore and Bob O'Dell drifted East Matagorda Bay with me today. The pattern of late played out again as this duo had their 20 trout, 17-24", and 6 reds, 21-26", by 10:30 AM. Once again chunking Hot Chicken Bass Assassins rang the bell.

11/11/10

Matthew Wehring, Sterling Crabtree, and Dan Springer drifted over shell in East Matagorda Bay today. Another record day with 30 trout, 17-22", and 2 reds all caught by 7:45 AM. Once more Hot Chicken Bass Assassins were the bait of choice.

11/12/10

My buddy, Roland Altinger, Chris Jouett, and Charles Roberts drifted East Matagorda Bay chunking those favorite Hot Chicken Bass Assassins to land 26 trout, 18-25". Talk about happy campers...

11/17/10

Duane Sandefer, Kyle Todd, and Mike Sachs drifted East Matagorda Bay today to catch 30 trout, 16-21", and 7 reds, 21-24". Baits chunked today were Hot Chicken Bass Assassins.

11/19/10 (Day 1)

Mike, David, and James Powell along with Robert Robbins chunked Chicken-on-a-Chain Bass Assassins to bring in 20 trout out of the Colorado River. My boat had a late start from the dock around 9:00 AM.

11/20/10 (Day 2)

The same guys fished with me again today. They threw the same bait, Bass Assassin's Chicken-on-a-Chain, to catch 30 trout, 16-24", and 7 reds, 22-26". Conditions were less than ideal.

11/21/10

Chandler Faickney and Cole Aplin had trout up to 26 1/2" and redfish to 26 1/2". These fish were caught while wading mud in East Matagorda Bay and throwing Bass Assassin's Chicken-on-a-Chain.
